Our Story
Cindy and Zuzana met at a small coffee shop in La Mesa, CA back in 2019. There was an instant connection between the two. Both of them are mothers and love kids, and wanted to create something special for them.
Cindy’s years of experience as a TK teacher and early childhood education enthusiast inspired her to create a story about Alex and Ashley and their pre-K and TK experience.
We celebrate the dedication and passion of educators and parents, who like you go above and beyond in creating enriching experiences for young learners.
We understand the importance of providing children with resources that help them navigate the school environment and feel empowered in their learning journey. The decision to write books that shed light on what their days will look like demonstrates our genuine care and advocacy for early childhood education.
As a small publishing company, we are honored to support educators and parents in bringing these important narratives to children`s lives. We look forward to see what positive impact our books will have on young children entering TK and pre-K.

Cindy Brancato Pacino
AUTHOR
Cindy, a lifelong resident of sunny San Diego, is a devoted mother to three boys and has a supportive husband by her side. Her aspiration to become a teacher has been a constant throughout her life, leading her to pursue a Masters in Early Childhood Education and obtain a Child Development Program Director Permit.
Her dedication to the education field led her to establish a district program aimed at creating developmentally appropriate classrooms for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students. Recognizing the importance of advocating for these young learners, Cindy noticed a lack of literature that accurately depicted their school experiences.
Motivated by her passion for educating young minds, Cindy embarked on a journey to fill this gap by writing a series of books that capture the essence of a TK student's day. Each book serves as a glimpse into the world of these little learners, helping them understand and navigate their unique school environment, while also providing learning opportunities.
Zuzana Vass

Zuzana, a long-time resident of the beautiful city of San Diego, has dedicated almost half of her life to her passion for illustrating, with Art always being at the core of her soul. With the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Ocean in the west and the endless skies above, San Diego has not only became her home but also the place where her childhood dream became a reality.
Specializing in creating illustrations for children's books, Zuzana focuses on bringing to life the wonder and excitement experienced by little ones as they begin their educational journey in school. Her love for children and nature shines through in her work, as she intricately weaves elements of the natural world into her drawings. Each illustration is crafted with care and attention to detail, aiming to spark curiosity and imagination in young minds.
Zuzana's artistry not only captures the joy of learning but also celebrates the beauty of the world around us. Through her illustrations, she hopes to inspire a love for both education and nature in the hearts of her young readers, guiding them on a colorful and enchanting literary adventure.
